Zandalari vs Beasts of Fable

The four Zandalari pets might just be under-appreciated. I've only ever encountered them once in the queue, anyway. Maybe you saw them more. Maybe what you saw was me, though. Anyway...

They all have very similar combinations of abilities, but only one of those pets can use its real potential in normal conditions. Against the Beasts of Fable, though, these guys really shine for me. Why? Well, it takes 3 rounds to reach their maximum potential. If you use this strategy against a normal pet, that third round just feels wasted.

Here's what happened against a Beast of Fable. I'm pruning it to feature the Zandalari's ability. If you really want to know how much damage Ka'wi dealt against the Zandalari, it was under 700 in total.

Ka'wi the Gorger is now enemy active pet.
Round 1
Exposed Wounds applied Exposed Wounds to enemy Ka'wi the Gorger.
Round 2
Hunting Party dealt 124 damage to enemy Ka'wi the Gorger (Strong).
Hunting Party dealt 183 damage to enemy Ka'wi the Gorger (Critical).

Round 3

Enemy Ka'wi the Gorger died.

One pet took out a Beast of Fable in 3 rounds. Sure, Ka'wi is the easiest Beast of Fable, but it was 3 rounds! It also took out Lucky Yi in 4 rounds and a pair of them got Nitun in 5 rounds. Here's Nitun...

Nitun is now enemy active pet.
Round 1
Exposed Wounds applied Exposed Wounds to enemy Nitun.
Round 2
Ravage applied Beast to your Zandalari Footslasher.
Hunting Party dealt 150 damage to enemy Nitun (Strong).

Round 5
Hunting Party dealt 357 damage to enemy Nitun (Strong).
Hunting Party dealt 358 damage to enemy Nitun (Strong).
Hunting Party dealt 373 damage to enemy Nitun (Strong).
Enemy Nitun died.

Black Claw adds 144 damage to each attack and Exposed wounds adds 90. The reason I use Exposed Wounds instead is because it lasts for 5 rounds (Black Claw lasts for 3) and I anticipate that my first pet will suffer an unfortunate accident before completing the Hunting Party, as it did in the case of Nitun.

I did run the all-Zandalari team against each Beast of Fable to see how they measured up. They took out Dos-Ryga, Kafi, Ka'wi, Nitun, Ti'un, Greyhoof, and Lucky Yi with ease. I actually only used one pet against both Ka'wi and Lucky Yi, and two against Ti'un and Nitun. Xi'a was touch-and-go, so if you just want to get it done, use some flyers. No-No and Gorespine were problematic, though. No-No hits so freaking hard and dives and blocks, and Gorespine has that spiky armour. It can be done, but I'd suggest not.
